All data is collected with Mobotix MxAnalytics software inside camera. You need to define area in which to count people. The results are saved every 15 minutes in camera and it is needed about 30 MB per day or 1 GB per month of internal data storage for this type of analysis.
Camera also shows heatmap of place. So you can analyse where people walk and stop most.
Camera can also record video, analyze it, trigger some events. You would need SD card inside camera.
The results can be sent from each camera like xls file to your email or you can see them live. But there is no possibility to see combined view from couple cameras. This is why we built ApexCount People Counter cloud solution were you can see all locations in one place.
You must install camera on top of entrance. Avoid sunny places and shiny floors.
